Green Is The New Black…But Where Do I Go To Get It?

If you haven’t noticed, green is the new black. The world is awash in green initiatives, begging the question: How green does one have be to be considered truly green? There is no easy answer, but just the desire to green our businesses is a good place to start.

Putting that goal on our horizon brings another question: How do we go about becoming “green”? And the really really big question: How much is it going to cost?

You might be surprised at all the free or low cost ways your business or family can go green. From using an environmentally-friendly font that uses less ink, to installing a small scale ecoroof somewhere on your property–saves our watershed, energy and helps suck carbon dioxide out of urban settings covered in concrete. These are just two ways to start the process and they take very little effort on your part with big time results!

The Go Green ’09 Conference in October was created to help businesses learn how to become more sustainable. Going green is a year-round process and there is no time like the present to make a few strides toward that magnificent goal. So, leading up to the conference we’ll be sharing easy ways to up our collective green quotient that don’t necessarily take a renovation or a budget hit to implement. Ecoroofs and ecofonts are just the beginning! Get ready for the green ride of your lives!
